A county firm
We know the county’s lanes, its listed homes and its station-town mornings before we arrive on them. Local knowledge is not a slogan here — it is the job.
About the firm
Buckinghamshire Removals grew out of the county it is named for. We move the households of the towns and villages we know, and we treat every move — near or far — as a job worth doing properly.
Buckinghamshire is a county of two halves — the open, growing Vale to the north and the beechwood hills of the Chilterns to the south — with the furniture valley and the prime commuter belt in between. It is a place of listed cottages and new estates, of narrow lanes and fast trains, and moving well across it takes a firm that knows the difference.
We help the households of the county do the oldest thing a place knows how to do: pack up and head somewhere new. These days that somewhere might be the next village, a cottage on the coast, or a house in the south of France. The distance changes; the care does not.
Being a county firm means we know the things that trip up an outsider — the conservation-area rules in old Amersham, the single-track drive up in the hills, the commuter parking in Beaconsfield, the listed staircase that will not take a wardrobe the easy way. It also means we have grown outward with our customers, running dedicated routes from Bucks across Europe.
Through all of it the promise stays the same: our own crews, one coordinator who owns your move start to finish, everything listed in and out, and — in a county built on furniture — a genuine care for the good pieces that come with you.
What we stand on
We know the county’s lanes, its listed homes and its station-town mornings before we arrive on them. Local knowledge is not a slogan here — it is the job.
The people who survey your move are the people who carry it out. No anonymous subcontractor turning up on the day.
What we say at the survey is what appears in the quotation, and what appears in the quotation is what you pay. No padding, no surprises.
In a county that made the nation’s chairs, fine and antique pieces are handled with the regard they deserve.
Tell us about your move — we will treat it like the local job it is, wherever it ends up.
